Confidence and emotional support sessions for children and young people

In-person appointments only (unless an existing client arrangement)

What are the benefits?

Often you will have a child or young person that is capable but is not achieving their potential and the reason you suspect is more emotional intelligence rather than rational understanding.

My expertise lies in assisting young individuals who possess great potential but may not reach their full capabilities due to a lack of confidence, or self-esteem, or they are anxious or have a negative internal voice. My specialism involves equipping these young people with the necessary skills and strategies to enhance their confidence, self-assurance, happiness, and capability in previously overwhelmed situations.

Through coaching, mentoring, and NLP-based play therapy, coupled with user-friendly tools, I allow young people to modify persistent unhelpful behaviours, build resilience, and develop confidence and self-belief.

In addition to these approaches, I also offer flower essences to support emotional well-being and provide nutritional advice upon request, all of which are part of my comprehensive services. I strongly believe in adopting a holistic and whole-person approach, recognising that a combination of mental, physical, and gut health can contribute to symptoms such as anxiety and low mood.

I equip children and young people with life skills to manage their own emotions, resolve anxiety, and grow in confidence, self-esteem and resilience.

Fun & engaging one-to-one sessions.

Dynamic school workshops for confidence, well-being and healthy eating.

How can this help?

Working 1:1 with children and young people, I look to identify their specific skills gap, a bit like a recipe for a birthday cake. You need to have the right ingredients and do the right actions, in the right order to make a birthday cake. Confidence and self-esteem are the same. I can equip your child with these skills. Empowering the young person to become confident, and begin to achieve their true potential. Working with individuals to empower confidence, boost self-esteem and create that can-do attitude.

Working in groups and classes with students to equip them with tools that can boost self-confidence, and self-esteem and create a can-do attitude where mistakes are accepted and seen as a point of learning. These workshops have been developed to sit within your existing timetable and are tailored to the key stages. From confidence and exam workshops to emotional state management tools that also empower and include those children who are disadvantaged so that they can receive the extra boost that they need to unlock their true potential.

Who can benefit?

The most common reason I work with children and young people is those with fear-based conditions such as anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, lack of self-worth, negative self-talk, and overwhelm. Children tend to display these types of behaviours when their needs are not being met and they are struggling to articulate this. If you can see beyond the behaviour and unlock what drives it, then you can seek to support positive change.

Almost anything can be resolved using the combination of coaching, mentoring and play-based therapy using neuro-linguistics, unlocking their potential to enable them to achieve. If you can find the right type of support, and teach the right set of tools, then humans tend to bounce back to their own true positive and capable nature.
